This is a subtemplate of {{rnd}}. It displays large numbers using scientific notation. It takes three parameters.
- the number to be displayed
- the precision to which it is to be displayed to
- the order of magnitude
It calls {{rnd/-}} with as parameters the significand and the number of decimals of the significand to be displayed, to add trailing zeros.
It's also used by {{rndnear}}.
