This is a profile for the birth. In a multiple pregnancy there will be multiple instances of birth, one for each infant.
Each bc-Birth must have:
- a reference to the Delivery Procedure the birth is part of (partOf)
- a category, fixed to SNOMED code 386637004
- a code, fixed to SNOMED code 3950001
- a subject, the newborn child
- a reference to the Pregnancy Condition (reasonReference)
- performer should be provided if known (this may not always be the case for historical data). performer is the responsible care professional.
