This is the {{Wikipedia template messages}} navigation box.

It is suitable for transcluding at the bottoms of template messages and its subpages.

This template is a self-reference and so is part of the Wikipedia project rather than the encyclopaedic content.

Usage

This is a simple navigation template based on {{navbox}} that takes an optional state parameter:

How to manage this template's visibility

• Use {{Wikipedia template messages |state=collapsed}}  to show this template in its collapsed (hidden) state.
• Use {{Wikipedia template messages |state=expanded}}  to show this template in its expanded (fully visible) state.
• Use {{Wikipedia template messages |state=autocollapse}}  to show this template in its collapsed (hidden) state only if there is another template of the same type on the page.
• Unless set otherwise (see state parameter within the template's code), autocollapse is the default state.
